June 19 - Father's Day

Father's Day   Don't Come Too Close
Father's Day and the baby is still in the nest being closely watched.

The Parent swooped down towards the river,
was carrying something when it reappearred,
landed in the nest and left it there - possibly a snake.

June 26 - the baby is growing!

Supervison from afar
July 17 - the young bird is still on the nest,
supervised by a parent, but from a distance.
The 78 days till fledging must be almost up.
